Automatic Main Failure (AMF) and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Panel

Product Description

Although often used interchangeably, Automatic Mains Failure (AMF) is slightly different from Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) in a way that AMF panel also performs automatic start/stop functionality. An ATS panel uses automatic motorized or magnetic switch to change over from one power supply to another. Because the contactors must be able to withstand the required load, when switching, an overload protection must be used before the changeover switch on all the incoming power supplies.

An AMF panel ensures the continuity of power by monitoring the incoming mains supply, activating the standby generator when mains power fails and making an automatic electrical transfer of the load from the mains to the generator sets. When the mains supply returns, the panel controls a return to the mains supply and shuts down the generator after a suitable cooling run. Due to a wide variation in functionalities, our team designs and builds AMF/ATS panels based on the main power outage scenarios and critical requirements you provide. Due to our fully equipped facility, we are able to accommodate a large degree of customization needed according to your specifications and requirements.
